As the Congress is fast approaching, we would like to provide you with some practical information concerning your participation. Please read the following points carefully.

The congress venue is situated next to the Zoo of Antwerp and few meters away from Antwerp Central Railway Station.
There are direct trains from Brussels International Airport (35’ journey) and from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (90’ journey).

REGISTRATION
The Registration desk is located on the Ground floor of the venue right at the entrance.
All registered delegates will receive a separate email with a unique QR code end of September.
You will be asked to scan this QR code at a dedicated self-checking kiosk when you first arrive at the venue. When you scan your QR code you will be able to print your badge.
At the kiosk, it will be also possible to type your name.

EYSAC Networking Event
Exclusive to EYSAC members and young members within 15 years after graduation.
You can proceed with the purchase of a ticket in the Registration Portal to secure your participation. Only a limited number of tickets will still be available onsite from the registration desk.

Registered participants to the EYSAC Networking Event are kindly requested to bring their congress badge to the event.

Posters
All posters at ESSO 43 will be displayed electronically, for the whole duration of the congress.
The poster screens will be placed in the Zoo Gallery, in the exhibition area.
Poster in the spotlight
There will be 3 stations in the exhibition hall for presentations of “posters in the spotlight” during the morning and afternoon breaks. Headsets will be provided.
Proffered Paper Presentations
A selected number of proffered papers will be presented in dedicated abstracts sessions addressing the main tumour sites.
EJSO
All posters will be published in a supplement of the EJSO.
OTHER
Congress VOD platform
All registrants will get access to the congress VOD platform to rewatch all the presentations of the congress. The platform will be available shortly after the congress.
Certificate of Attendance
All registered delegates present on-site are entitled to receive a Certificate of Attendance. The certificate can be downloaded from the Online Portal after the Congress.
EACCME CME Certificate
The 43rd Congress of the European Society of Surgical Oncology has been granted 18.5 European CME credits by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME). After the congress you will receive your certificate by mail. You can also download it from the registration porta.
Congress App
The ESSO 43 app will be available in the App store and on Google Play 1 week before the congress.
Coffee Stations
Coffee stations will be available during the Congress days in the Atrium (Exhibition Hall).
Lunch
There will be limited lunches provided to attendees of the satellite symposia of our partners.
Lunch can otherwise be purchased in advance, until 23rd September, from the registration portal. On the day, you will be able to pick up your lunchbox from the catering point in the Exhibition Hall during lunch breaks.
The cost for a lunch box is € 22,45.
Please note that there will be no cash bar available in the venue.

Cloakroom
There will be a cloakroom available where you can store your coat or suitcases. The cloakroom will close 30 minutes after the last session and 15 minutes after the ‘Get together’ on Wednesday.
Safety
Antwerp is a safe city, but theft and pickpocketing are quite common in crowded areas like the Antwerp Central station or the underground stations. Please take care of your belongings and be aware of any attempts to distract you.
